With a rebreather designed to use an ExtendAir cartridge, loading the canister is as simple as opening the package, taking out the cartridge and sliding it into the canister.

An ExtendAir cartridge can be loaded correctly in about 30 seconds, compared with 5 to 15 or more minutes using granules.
